An immortal witch hunter embarks on a quest to find a witch who has stolen his mortality. When he finds her, she tells him that she wants to make the whole world immortal. The Last Witch Hunter is being remade into a trilogy being developed by Henson Alternative Productions as a joint venture with Summit Entertainment. The series will feature four movies as it follows Kaulder as he travels around the world on his hunt for witches and other supernatural creatures. The Last Witch Hunter: The Death of Kaulder is the prequel to the film taking place hundreds of years before it. It stars Vin Diesel as Owen Cavanaugh. The Last Witch Hunter: City of the Dead is the sequel to The Last Witch Hunter and will follow Vetala, who has now taken Kaulder's place as the protector against evil witches.
